About us
Ovet Shipping B.V., established in 1971, is a joint venture between stevedoring company Ovet B.V. and shipping agent / logistic service provider Bulk Maritime Agencies Rotterdam (BMA), part of Hudig & Veder.
Shipping agency
The main activity of Ovet Shipping, with offices located in Terneuzen and Flushing (Vlissingen), is providing shipping agency services in the Western Scheldt area. Started as a tramp-agent specialized in dry bulk, over the years we have built up a wide experience in liquid bulk, break bulk, containers and project cargo, as well as husbandry-, protecting- and offshore related owners agencies.
Logistics
Ovet Shipping is an experienced logistic service provider. In-house, we can offer logistic services as freight forwarding and coastal- and deepsea chartering. If required, via our network of designated partners, we can offer all kinds of logistic solutions, including barging, trucking, storage, warehousing and customs agency.

Ovet Shipping is ISO 9001-, Authorised Economic Operator Full (AEOF)- and FONASBA certified. The combination of these certificates and an experienced staff guarantees a high service level at all times, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
